Verónica Sesana

Born in Bogotá, Colombia Veronica’s research focuses on Contemporary Art with an emphasis on Latin America. As an Independent Curator she seeks to promote artists who focuse on topical issues such as immigration, climate change, and other socio-political subjects. Veronica received an MA in Modern and Contemporary Art History from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (2017) and has worked in large institutions including the Art Institute of Chicago and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. She has contributed to various exhibitions including Contesting Modernity: Informalism in Venezuela, 1955–1975, and Beatriz González: A Retrospective.
