Global South Winds: Multipolar Dialogues in Contemporary Art is a contemporary art book edited from Mexico and China, bringing together multipolar perspectives that broaden the horizons of conversation in contemporary art.
The winds blowing from Latin America toward Asia bring together 26 artists, curators, and researchers from Latin America, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and other regions of the so-called Global South. The book proposes rethinking the art system and cultural diversity in all its complexity through urgent themes such as intercultural studies, Southern economies, comparative decolonial theories, crisis, and technology.
